Der UV STANDARD 801 ist eines der strengsten Prüfzeichen für UV-Schutztextilien. Er gibt an, wie gut ein Stoff vor UV-Strahlung schützt - und zwar unter realen Bedingungen.
- Echter Schutz im Alltag – Das Material wird in gedehntem, feuchtem und gewaschenem Zustand getestet, um sicherzustellen, dass der UV-Schutz nicht nur im Neuzustand gilt.
- Höhere Sicherheit als andere Standards – Während andere Prüfnormen (z. B. UPF nach AS/NZS oder EN 13758-1) nur den trockenen, neuen Stoff bewerten, berücksichtigt der UV STANDARD 801 auch Faktoren wie Dehnung, Nässe und Alterung des Materials.
- UPF-Wert mit hoher Sicherheit – Der gemessene UV-Schutzfaktor (z. B. UPF 50+) garantiert, dass weniger als 1/50 der UV-Strahlung die Haut erreicht.
